After a 10 ten-day public voting round, the Learning Change Agent with the most votes was Jeffery Beckham, Jr. Mr. Beckham will receive $300.00 (the amount collected during our first collection) to further the transformative work he does in education. We congratulate Jeffery Beckham, Jr. and thank all of our Learning Change Agents for their commitment to education and transforming learning experiences. VOTE for Learning Dimensions to be a Small Business Champion. SCORE’s Championship celebrates U.S. small businesses, and is made possible thanks to funding from Sam’s Club and The SCORE Foundation. One Grand Champion will win $25,000 and Learning Dimensions (the parent company of LEARNtheBrand Impact Apparel) could be the winner. This $1000.00 grant will help fund a community engagement activity to connect Chicago communities to LEARNtheBrand Impact Apparel's education rebranding efforts. LEARNtheBrand Impact Apparel is pleased to announce that we will be partnering with Threadless, a Chicago-based t-shirt company committed to supporting the artist and educational community and has collaborated with companies such as Gap, Thermos as well as Dell in the past. We thank Threadless for creating and hosting our online store. The partnership with Threadless will allow us to increase the volume and variety of apparel items from t-shirts to hoodies, sweatshirts, phone cases as well a prints and canvases. ALL GOOD THINGS COME TO AN END! WE ARE FULLY FUNDED! I am pleased to announce that LEARNtheBrand Impact Apparel Kiva Zip campaign, as of August 19, 2015 (11:38 CST), has been fully funded. We reached our $4000.00 goal! Roho Garcia and I would like to thank everyone who supported the project as lenders, sharers of our campaign link to their networks, and individuals who offered in-kind support. Gratitude to Karen McKay, the Kiva Zip fellow who assisted us throughout the process. So glad she did not allow me to walk away from her exposition table.
